The tale was mostly narrated in the present tense, with a few flashbacks.Caitlyn is extremely resilient for a youngster, and Daniel is charming and an excellent single father.Even though they mourn Nicole terribly, the two of them are definitely making the best of their post-Nicole existence.

The horror component was present from the beginning and remained throughout the tale.
Strange incidents began to occur on the first few pages, and I had already made up my mind about who or what was responsible for the haunting.
